It's these issues that give MT a bit of a bad name. :<

I don't know how MT decides or deals with members like them, i just hope I'd find some sort of fairness. My friend clearly states he want's it for his website alone.

I've been seeing a lot of scans from Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom, SNK, Tales of Symphonia/Phantasia .... and so forth.

I can racognize a lot of the scans being uploaded by several memebers, were taken from my friend's website at http://beyourtruemind.net. The owner is Kei Kurosu.

All I'm asking is-- can you mods and admins remind MT members NEVER to upload his scans here? Can you please include his website link under MT's Do not upload scans from these websites list? And please kindly delete stolen scans if you can.

my MT friendlist matters to me.
i want my list to contain those ppl who really mean a lot to me. like my real online friends, or those I really devote to have interest with, like their work is awesome, or i love their scan collection.

i use it as a notifier at the same time, so i know who uploaded what.

I read Pretty Face Manga.
It's hilarious. Very funny, and the art is nice. Lots of sexy ladies tho hehe .. not that i mind. btw, did the manga ended yet? the last chapter i read was when the guy almost met the real twin sister.

i don't eat chocolates since they suffocate me after a while.
but i do take small bites. And i liked Hershey'ss Cookies and Cream, and Toblerone.

I'm not a horror fan.
But i did get t owatch The grudge. The japanese version wasn't as scary, and as usual the plot was kind of pointless, or confusing. There was too much mystery that I didn't have enough space to get scared. -__-

The western version is even LESS interesting comapred with the japanese version.
I watched The Ring both the japanese and western versions, and they bored me.

i found the asian version a bit too mysterious, that made me bored.
While the western ones leave me really really bored i didn't even want to finish the movie.

In my opinion, hollywood shouldn't make western versions when there are already asian ones existing. Maybe it would have been better, if they just helped promote it, or something.

Or they make horror movies of their own, and improve the old western horror flicks in the past. They did a good job with Interview With The Last Vampire.

I guess I just hate RIPOFFS. >XD

I think a waller should never be stuck on 1 style alone.
You should master one then develop a few more styles later on, and try to hybridize themes, by mixing styles you can create a style of your own as well.

I believe that graphic design and/or art itself, shouldn't be limited.
It should be a way of exlporing new styles through time.

Have fun while your at it.
My advice, master every style, and create one of your own.

People nowadays have no manners whatsoever. Very few living humans have that program in them to be polite.

On the streets, girls get harrassed in an instant if they are not alert.
Girls who wear clothes that shape their body even by just a bit, get harrassed too.
Some stupid standbys would wistle and zoom their face right at yours just to disrespect you.

That's just a few lighter things that can happen everyday, on daylight public streets and trsnports

They are lighter things, and yet they are one of the major things that mess up my day as i go to work or anywhere. It's annoying. I wish I had a car so I don't have to travel on public transpos.

Manga.
Manga has more details, more expanded storylines, i can stare at every scene for as long as i want, it is more tangible for the fact that i can hold the book on my hand, the drawings are way better and it's easier to download them *if ever* compared to anime.

I haven't walled a "Starky bg + grass + clouds + cute girl" wallpaper yet.
I do wall scenic ones with clouds, and some sort of landscape formations but haven't had any grass on it.

Starky bg + grass + clouds + cute girl wallpapers are pretty much around these days probably because it's one of the most available tutorials to have (in terms of making wp). So ppl who are interested in making a wp would pretty much end up starting with something like that.

Some folks have tried abstracts, grunge, 3D too many times already, they are sick of experimenting on that area and wanted something else. Thus, Starky bg + grass + clouds + cute girl wallpapers.

Starky bg + grass + clouds + cute girl wallpapers are NOT BAD if it wasn't created and put together in an ugly way. there are pretty nice Starky bg + grass + clouds + cute girl wallpapers out there, it's just that they are VERY few.

I'm not into ANY styles of walling, nor do i find any styles a big deal.
I just wall a bg that suits the character i'm using, and not because I wanna wall every damn scan I see.

But mood plays a major role when I make walls.
So there are series of styles i tend o do for a while.
When I'm inspired, I tend to make abstract bgs. When I feel peaceful and calm i end up walling scenic ones.

Not that I'm a good waller or anythiing.

I just believe that in creating, there should be no limits.
You do what your drive urges you to create and execute.

Be original, be creative, be spontaneous.
Strive not being in a trend without atleast being distinguished from the majority that follows it.

Go do the trend, but for quality's sake ....... PLEASE STAND OUT!! T__T

Well it matters to users who are oon higher resolutions, and wanted to use your wallpaper on their desktops.

a 1024x768 wallpaper would be blurry for users of 1280x1024.

I started making walls at 1024x768.
But when the demands got bigger, and i get requests for bigger ones, I then started making walls that starts at 1600x1200.

1600x1200 can be resized easily for smaller resolutions.
I just can't tell you about other odd sizes though.

I hate layout sites that use wallpapers of others to make layouts.
Can't they just make stuff of their own? since they are offering layouts anyways.
It irritates me how they use ppl's wallpapers and just slaps a credit page or something.

Whining members remind me of DeviantArt when it started getting bigger and bigger. Until they got more crap. Members are the most inconsiderate sometimes.

If you don't like the place, you can just find another.
It's like the life of the stars in the universe, too many stars being absorbed in 1 galaxy and suddenly they go ... boom! and die.

MT can maybe limit the registration of new members monthly to maybe 30 newbies a month. Thatr's the least i can think of right now. Heck i got my own busines to do too ~__~

omg, this would be my most favorite thread of all time.
it pains me to see some great walls done by other great wallers who get their wallpapers uploaded by some stupid member.
that was few of the reasons i withdrawn activity ...... it feels bad to see a veteran's wp being ripped, and seen in a community like MT.

We hate spam of all sort. They add clutter to any community.
I think the levels became as a stimulant for one stupid member to spam. Anyone who runs a community with a gallery with it, will have to deal with members who spam.

Leeching, ah the uncontrollable thing.
it's an addiction really.

Rips, Spams, Stolen images, bad quality content are major things that damages the reputation of a community.

And any one who runs a big community WILL GET angry for stupid members. Members think they have rights in a community once they get to do what they are supposed to do, to get what they want.

But really everything still lies on those who run the place.
It is annoying to even read members complaining about how a community is ran, when they don't really have any investment in it.

If they donate money heck maybe.

ah daydream graphics. they do that really.
They used some of my wallpapers for making free layouts too. I contacted them, i think they took it down after a long while.
